Technical Advisory Taskforce (TAT) meeting held and attended by H.E Dr. Tu Khaung on 30th Apr 2021.
Dr.Tu Hkawng, Union Minister, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, National Unity Government chaired a meeting with the members of Technical Advisory Taskforce (TAT) at 17:00 on 30th Apr 2021.
At the meeting, the Union Minister urged the attendees to work together through a collective leadership approach to discuss the next step by identifying what needs to be done by the Ministry and to develop and implement new strategies by adapting to changing conditions. He discussed that it is necessary to make their activities known to the public and the world, encouraging them to carry out actions in line with the ground, and asked the participants to recruit staff for each department under the ministry.
The following points were decided at the meeting.
1. To estimate and identify adequate staff salaries and expenses for each department of the ministry
2. To develop and submit a detailed action plan to implement the actions contained in the statement in no time.
3. To set up a multi-stakeholder working group led by the deputy minister and joined by TAT members, civilian representatives and international consultants as members for formulation of resource federalism policy
4. To collaborate with the Public Relation and Media Taskforce (PraMT) to make accurate information publicly available in a timely manner.
