The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, under the National Unity Government, called for a green campaign on World Environment Day (WED), June 5th, 2021, to honor the heroic souls of those who fought for freedom in the Spring Revolution and those who continue to fight against the military dictators in Myanmar, regardless religion, ethnicity, and social class. The planting of trees, fruit, vegetables, and/or flowers, not only in honor of the Heroes of the Myanmar Spring Revolution, but also to support the restoration of democracy and the environment would be highly appreciated.
