Announcement of Warm Welcoming and Acknowledging of Civil Servants Who Want to Rejoin CDM

1. As the CDM formed by government employees who refuse to obey commands by the Military Regime continues to grow in size and strength, the military juntas have put pressure on civil servants to return to their work by using forceful and coercive tactics. As a result, we have observed that some employees have no other choice but to return to work.

2. We believe that many non-CDM employees of the government have returned to the workplace due to social issues including family burdens, however, they are still willing to stand with civilians and have no intention to support the Military’s interests. Therefore, we have already released a channel for those non-CDM civil servants to coordinate with us in the future, as said in the statement of our ministry’s way.

3. At this moment, many non-CDM civil servants who realize the persecutions and crimes against humanity committed by the military junta and are faced with discrimination and oppression at workplaces led by those that support the junta may want to rejoin the CDM in order to timely express their standpoint in reality. We acknowledge, and warmly welcome, those CDM heroes who will reunite with our CDM team.

4. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation is constantly striving to implement the management of natural resources principled by federalism, and we rely on the unity and strength of good employees who stand with civilians for justice.
