The 6th Meeting of Technical Advisory Taskforce on 17-5-2021 (TAT 6/21 Meeting)
H.E. Dr. Tu Hkawng, Union Minister for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, the National Unity Government, met with the members of the Technical Advisory Taskforce at 17:00 on May 17, 2021.
At the meeting, the Union Minister assigned coordinators for the Network and Strategic Teams and Resource Federalism Policy Taskforce under the Ministry and urged them to propose a public campaign to raise awareness-raising on democracy restoration. Furthermore, H.E. Dr. Tu Hkawng guided the task force to be aware of federalism in developing the Ministry’s vision, missions, and basic principles. He also reminded the members of a paradigm shift from a top-down to a bottom-up approach in the operational procedures.
The decisions implemented in the meeting are as follows:
(1) Release statements of Vision, Missions and Basic Principles of the Ministry
(2) Review and revise the Ministry’s logo design
(3) Launch a public campaign for awareness-raising on democracy restoration
